Could Have Been Us is breathtakingly beautiful。 Corrine Michaels had my heart after reading the first chapter and kept me hooked until the very last page。 This is book 2 in the Willow Creek Valley series but it can be read as a standalone。Stella Parkerson is a kind-hearted woman who seems to be living the perfect life。 On the outside， she is running a successful inn with support from her friends and family， but on the inside she is brokenhearted。 Twelve years ago， she finally got to be with the Could Have Been Us is breathtakingly beautiful。 Corrine Michaels had my heart after reading the first chapter and kept me hooked until the very last page。 This is book 2 in the Willow Creek Valley series but it can be read as a standalone。Stella Parkerson is a kind-hearted woman who seems to be living the perfect life。 On the outside， she is running a successful inn with support from her friends and family， but on the inside she is brokenhearted。 Twelve years ago， she finally got to be with the man of her dreams if only for one night。 But it was bittersweet。 She found out she was pregnant and her parents forced her to give the baby up for adoption。 Now， she is still having to live life and find a way to cope with her decision。 What makes it even tougher is that she has to see Jack， the love of her life， every day and keep her distance。Jack is a man who likes to keep his emotions to himself。 He is Stella's brother's best friend and has kept their secret for twelve years。 He wants to be with Stella but is scared of what that will mean for his friendship with Stella's brother Grayson。 And to admit it his is scared that Stella won't feel the same way。The loss of a friend brings Jack and Stella closer together。 It makes them actually speak about their past， their feelings， and deal with their decision they had to make。 Corinne Michales did a wonderful job at engaging readers。 Sure， Jack and Stella's relationship is complicated with a capital C but above all else it is beautiful。 The characters have to deal with a lot of loss， heartache， heartbreak， and have to be vulnerable。 You can expect to get emotional while reading。I give Could Have Been Us 5 stars。 I was absolutely captivated by this best friend's brother romance。 Corinne Michaels gave me all the feels。 I was sad at everything these two wonderful characters had to face， hopeful for their promising futures， and charmed by the breathtaking romance。 This is one of my favorites from Corinne Michaels and I am so excited to read about Josh and Delia in book 3。 。。。more

Could Have Been Us is the second book in the Willow Creek Valley series， and for a pleasant experience and understanding of the whole family， you will need to read the first book。This story was so beautiful and it was my favorite read this month。 Corinne Michaels has a way in writing this kind of stories， heartbreaking， but yet beautiful， and this one was no exception。 Stella and Jack had a rough time in their lives， they were forced to make some choices at a young age， choices which affected th Could Have Been Us is the second book in the Willow Creek Valley series， and for a pleasant experience and understanding of the whole family， you will need to read the first book。This story was so beautiful and it was my favorite read this month。 Corinne Michaels has a way in writing this kind of stories， heartbreaking， but yet beautiful， and this one was no exception。 Stella and Jack had a rough time in their lives， they were forced to make some choices at a young age， choices which affected them as persons。 They were in love since forever， but until acting on this and started a relationship they needed to find themselves and believe in them。 The plot was unique， I cried from the first few pages， my heart broke for Stella and Jack， but in the end， while reading the last phrases I had a smile on my face， I was happy for how it turned out， and that they found their happily ever after。 While reading， I laughed， I cried， I got a little bit angry and sad， I felt every word written。 I liked the interaction between the whole Parkerson family， I loved how Jack was there for Stella， they completed each other so well。 I loved Kinsley， and I was really happy for her， to finally have the family that she deserves。 I think all the interactions were handled in a mature way， there no childish fights or something like this。 I felt that everything went smooth， despite the hard topic covered by the plot。 I don't know what to say more， other than I loved this book and it was my favorite， and I recommend it from the bottom of my heart。 I hope you'll enjoy this story as much as I did。 。。。more

Corinne Michaels is usually good at two things: delivering one hell of a story， and bringing a reader to their knees with so much emotion。 Stella and Jack’s story gave you both of those things， and it was everything I needed。 I want to say so much but I will just end up giving too much away cause I am a HORRIBLE secret keeper。 So just do me a huge favor， and go check out Corinne’s new series trust me you won’t regret it。 Maybe we can convince her to come on Bookshelf Boyfriends？？

This is one of those stories that you just have to read to truly appreciate。 This is the second book in a series but you could read it as a stand alone。 Honestly， the timelines overlap so you get the gist of what happened in book one for the most part。 This story is from Stella and Jack's POV。 Talk about forbidden love！ These two have been drawn to each other since they were young teens。 Out of respect for the family that took him in and his best friend， Jack holds back。 But like moth to flame， This is one of those stories that you just have to read to truly appreciate。 This is the second book in a series but you could read it as a stand alone。 Honestly， the timelines overlap so you get the gist of what happened in book one for the most part。 This story is from Stella and Jack's POV。 Talk about forbidden love！ These two have been drawn to each other since they were young teens。 Out of respect for the family that took him in and his best friend， Jack holds back。 But like moth to flame， they can't stay away。 Until the events and pain cause them to break apart and stay distant in order to keep their hearts intact。 The whole story is a lesson in love。 Who we love and how we love and what we will do for love。 Jack and Stella's story is epic！ Their history is bound for eternity and the grace by which they handle the new circumstances of their lives is just phenomenal。 Both of them are strong， loving people。 IF the series ended today， I would be fine with the first two books。 This story is that satisfying。 But， we have a few more brothers to work with here and the set up for the next book has be begging for more。 I have a feeling it's going to be one of my favorite tropes。 Grab this story today！ Great read！ *Complimentary copy provided for a honest review。 。。。more
